Speech coaches criticize Rubio errors

“Right at about the four minute mark you can tell that he’s thirsty already because he starts to lick his lips…and it’s not until 10 minutes into the speech that he finally takes that sip of water. If you watch closely [he’s] licking his lips and wipes sweat from his face, which is a distraction…[as] his hand goes over his mouth,” Jahnke said. “So what he should’ve done earlier on, right away when he started to feel cotton mouth is he should’ve just taken a sip of water right then. Because he waits his entire performance suffers.”
